Kenneth Brown, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Brown has been part of the Center for Life Management medical staff for more than twenty-four years and was named Medical Director in 2019.
Dr. Brown earned his medical degree at Tulane University. He completed his general psychiatry residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, and a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. In addition, Dr. Brown holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and Masters in Public Health also from Tulane University.
In 2018, Dr. Brown completed the NeuroStar TMS clinical training program for NeuroStar Advanced Therapy. Dr. Brown explains, “Depression is a serious medical condition that is very treatable. While TMS is not going to be right for all patients, it does give us another highly effective tool in helping patients get relief from depression and regain control of their lives.”
Lisa Williams, APRN-BC, DNP
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Lisa is a Licensed Advanced Registered Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with more than thirteen years of experience in the field in a variety of clinical settings. In 2020, she completed the TMS Clinical Training program for NeuroStar Advanced Therapy.
Lisa is a well-rounded and experienced clinician who practices a holistic approach to healing and strongly believes that genuine caring toward a patient creates a healing environment. A dynamic part of the clinical staff at CLM since 2005, Lisa brings her passion for quality care to our NeuroStar team and says, “TMS is a non-invasive, non-medication treatment for depression that is proven effective.”
Amy Reinikainen
TMS Coordinator and Treater
Amy joined CLM in 2020 as TMS Coordinator. She completed the NeuroStar Clinicial Training program and is a certified TMS Treater. Prior to her time at CLM, Amy worked as a Medical Assistant in a variety of health care settings, a credential she maintains.
About her role with TMS, Amy says, “I have seen firsthand people who have been struggling with depression their whole life and finally have the hope that they had been searching for in TMS. I have seen some incredible life changes in my patients and there is nothing more gratifying than to be able to be a part of that change.”
